Indian Navy has invited application form for unmarried male candidates for joining the Indian Navy as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer in Executive and Technical Branches GS/ SUB of the Indian Navy for grant of Short Service Commission, for course commencing Jan 2017. Eligible candidates may apply online from 15-02-2016 to 08-03-2016 & send hard copy of application on or before 18-03-2016. Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 19 1/2 – 25 years i.e., should be born between 02-07-1992 to 01-07-1997 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have completed BE/ B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/ Marine/ Automotive/ Mechtronics/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks in aggregate for post I, II-1, BE/ B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/ Marine/ Automotive/ Mechtronics/ Electrical/ Electronics with minimum 55% marks in aggregate for post II-2.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on academic merit, SSB interview (Intelligence test, Picture Perception, Discussion test, Psychological test, Group test & interview), medical examination.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from 15-02-2016 to 08-03-2016 & send hard copy of signed online application affixing recent passport size colour photograph on it along with self attested photo copies of all relevant certificates by ordinary post to Post Box No. 04, Chankya Puri PO, New Delhi-110021 on or before 18-03-2016. Recently Indian Navy announced the online applications for the recruitment in Education Branch/ Naval Armament Inspection cadre under Permanent Commission in Short Service Commission in Logistics for Course commencing on -June 2016 at INA Indian Naval Academy,Kerala.
