a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the
Government of India.
Note: The application of a candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may
be admitted to the Examination but the offer of appointment will be give only after the
necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/ her by the Government of India.

Eligibility Conditions : 

Education Qualification:Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government. Note : Two or Three year Diploma certificate in technical education done after 10th class is not equivalent to intermediate (10+2).

Skill Test (On computer): Dictation : 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute Transcription time :- 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer

Pay Scale : The post carries pay in pay band of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- (Minimum pay in pay band is Rs. 8,560/- P.M.). The post will carry Dearness allowance / House rent allowance / transport allowance / ration money, free accommodation, free uniform, free medical facilities, free leave pass once in a year during leave and other allowances as admissible under the rules in the Force.

Age Limits:  Between 18 to 25 years. (The crucial date for determining the age will be 1st March 2016, which is the closing date of application. Candidate should not have been born earlier than 02/03/1991 and not later than 01/03/1998).

Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates


Selection Process : The recruitment shall be held in two phases as under:-
A. FIRST PHASE:Written examination.
B. SECOND PHASE:
(a) Physical Standard Test (PST)/Scrutiny of documents
(b) Skill test ( i.e. Stenography/short hand test) (On computers only and regulated through software) Dictation : 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute. Transcription time : 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer. Note:- Mode/Procedure/Method for conducting skill test will be decided by the department.

Indian Navy has invited the Applications form from UNMARRIED MALE CANDIDATES (fulfilling the conditions of nationality as laid down by the Govt of India) to join the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala under the 10+2 (B Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme for the permanent commission.

Eligibility Conditions: 
1. Age:17 to 19½ years {i.e. born between 02 Jan 1997 & 01 Jul 1999 (both dates inclusive)}.

2. Educational Qualification: Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent from University/Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).

3. Physical Standards:
(a) Height and Weight. Minimum height - 157 cms with correlated weight as per age.
(b) Eye Sight. The minimum acceptable vision standards for distant vision is 6/6, 6/9 correctable to           6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.
(c) Tattoo. Permanent body tattoos on any part of the body are permitted to candidates belonging to tribal communities/from tribal areas as declared by the Government of India. For other candidates per-manent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face or forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to wrist end on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Note: - There will be no relaxation in Physical Standards.

Selection Procedure:  
(a) Candidates will be issued call up for Services Selection Board (SSB) based on their performance in Senior Secondary Education (10+2 equivalent). Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Navy) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut off percentage. No communication will be entertained on this account. SSB interviews for short listed candidates will be scheduled at Banga-lore/Bhopal/Coimbatore/Visakhapatnam during Feb - May 16.
(b) Shortlisted candiates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their E-mail or         thorugh SMS (provided by candidate in their application form).
(c) SSB interview will be conducted in two Stages. Stage I test consists of intelligence test, Picture          Perception and Discussion test. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on          the same day. Stage II tests comprises Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview which          will last for 04 days.Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx         duration 03-05 days).
(d) Candidates recommended by the SSBs and declared medically fit, will be selected for training in         the order of an All India Merit List depending on the number of vacancies.
(e) Change of SSB venue for interview is not permissible.
(f) Any correspondence regarding change of SSB date is to be addressed to the Callup Officer of the        concerned SSB on receipt of call up letter. Award of fresh dates for SSB would be subject to                availability.
(g) No compensation will be paid in respect of any injury sustained as a result of tests.
(h) Return 3rd AC rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview, if appearing for the first time for this       entry.

1. Candidates are to fill in ‘e-application' (Online) for this entry. The candidates are to apply online (e-application) from 12 Dec 2015. The online application registration will cease on 02 Jan 2016. The procedure for applying online is explained in Paras 17 & 18 below.
IMPORTANT - Please read the instructions given on the website carefully before submitting your ‘e-application’ form.
2. Online (e-application):- Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant             documents readily available to enable the following:-
