Recently Himachal Govt. invites the Application Form of  HPTET. The Government of Himachal Pradesh has given employment notification for conducting Himachal Pradesh (HP) Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2015. Eligible candidates may apply online from 24-09-2015 to 09-10-2015. Other details are given below..

Name of the Posts: Trained Graduate Teacher/ Shastri/ L.T./ J.B.T/ Punjabi/ Urdu

Age Limit:There is no age limit prescribed for candidates appearing for HP-TET.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for HP TET should possess following educational qualifications:

For TGT (Arts): B.A/ B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) & (Special Education) or B.A/ B.Com with at least 45% marks(only for those who have passed B.Ed. Up-to 30-08-2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30-08-2009) 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

For Junior Basic Training (JBT): 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/ University and should possess two years JBT certificate course from an institute duly recognized by the Central State Govt or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS/GUIDELINES TO THE CANDIDATES 
Candidates can apply online for Teachers Eligibility Test - 2015 on the Board website www.hpbose.org.
Please ensure your eligibility as per the criteria laid down for Teachers Eligibility Test - 2015 in the Prospectus uploaded on the Board Website.
Candidate should enter his/her particulars i.e. Name, Father Name, Mother Name & Date of Birth as per his/her Secondary Education Board Class X Certificate.
Please read the  instructions and proceed carefully before you start filling the online application form. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Prospectus and on the Board website.
Examination Fee is Rs. 800/- for General and its Sub-Categories (except PHH) and Rs. 500/- for OBC/ST/SC/PHH Categories.
Candidates can apply online on Board Website from 24-09-2015 to 09-10-2015. No application will be entertained thereafter.
Information regarding the applications of candidates received with fees will be uploaded on the Board’s website www.hpbose.org. The candidates can check their Application for candidature and candidate particulars on the website. The candidature of the candidate, who’s fees has not been received by this Board, will not be considered for the TET-2015 examination.
The Admit Cards will be uploaded on the Board website. The Candidates will be able to download/print the Admit Cards for entrance to Examination Centre. The Admit Card will not be sent to Candidates separately by post.
Candidate is allowed to submit only one Application Form against same subject. Multiple Applications for same subject of a candidate are liable to be rejected.
Application Forms through fax/post shall not be entertained and Board does not take responsibility to inform such candidates.
The applicants are strongly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for the last date of submission of online application.

Five Simple Steps to Fill Online Application Form

Step 1: Click on New Registration link and fill the Online Application Form. Candidates are advised to note down his/her system generated Application Number. The candidate should supply all the details while filling the online Application Form and no columns shall be kept vacant. After successful submission of the data, Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining steps of the Application Form and also required for all future correspondence. For subsequent logins, candidate will be able to Sign In directly with his/her respective system generated Application Number and Date of Birth. This Application Number  and Date of Birth are required for subsequent operation(s); hence the candidate should keep a printout of the same with him for ready reference. Printout option for system generated Application No. is available on Website.

Step 2: Candidate must upload his/her scanned images of Photograph and Signature. The scanned images of photograph, Signature should be in jpg/jpeg format only. Size of the photo image must be greater than 15 Kb and less than 20 Kb. Size of the signature image must be greater than 10 Kb and less than 15 Kb.

Step 3: Candidate has to print Fee Challan Voucher, the option of which is also available on the website. The candidate can take the printout of this Challan to the nearest bank branch. On this Challan Voucher candidate's pre-printed particulars alongwith Bank A/c No. etc. and system generated Application No. would be available to the candidate. The Examination Fee can be deposited by the candidate from any of the nearest Bank to the Board's Bank A/c which is already mentioned in the prospectus and also pre-printed on the Fee Challan Voucher. The candidate can take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest branch of any bank for making payment in SBI Bank online.

Step 4: After depositing the fees in the Board bank A/c from the bank branch, candidate is required to enter the fee transaction and other fee details to be supplied by the branch concerned in the fourth part of the Application Form available on the website and Finally Submit the Application Form.

Step 5: After Final Submission of the Online Application Form, candidate will take printout of his/her Application Form, and after taking the printout will affix same copy of his/her passport size photograph which has earlier been scanned and uploaded by the candidate in the application form. The photograph will be pasted on the form and no stapling would be permissible. The candidate after affixing the photograph will put his/her signature on the downloaded application form and send it alongwith Receipt of Fee Challan Deposited to the S.O (TET), HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala (Kangra)-176213 by post or submit it directly at the counter of the Board office.
After Final Submission of the Online Application Form no further correction(s) will be allowed in the information provided in the Form.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • The Assistant Information Technology Coordinator will be based at DDMA, in the District Headquarter and under the overall supervision of the Deputy Commissioner, he/she would carry out the following tasks:
  • Assist in Computer and information technology application (including hardware, software, LAN, security, training etc.), their planning and development;
  • Assist the LAN/WAN of the office and ensure connectivity, backup of servers and mailboxes, antivirus update for file and e-mail protection, create and delete email accounts etc.;
  • Troubleshoot system problems related to Network Printers, Photocopiers, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Operating Systems;
  • Provide technical support to end-users on computer and IT applications;
  • Assist in maintaining and updating disaster management content in the district website in coordination with Deputy Commissioner’s office;
  • Collect inputs from various stakeholders and update the India Disaster Resource Network (IDRN) on a regular basis;
  • Respond to the e-mails, queries, questions and clarifications from various stakeholders;
  • Collect, compile, digitize and transmit knowledge products from various sources organizations on a regular basis;
  • Assist in designing layouts, graphics and other IEC material;
  • Carry out data entry operation;
  • Submit periodic progress reports to the Deputy Commissioner;
  • Maintain inventory of the IT equipment and ensure timely maintenance of the IT and communication equipment;
  • Perform all such functions that may be entrusted by the Deputy Commissioner.

Structural Analysis: Analysis of statically determinate trusses, arches, beams, cables and
frames, displacements in statically determinate structures and analysis of statically indeterminate
structures by force/ energy methods, analysis by displacement methods (slope deflection and
moment distribution methods), influence lines for determinate and indeterminate structures.
Basic concepts of matrix methods of structural analysis.

Concrete Structures: Concrete Technology- properties of concrete, basics of mix design.
Concrete design- basic working stress and limit state design concepts, analysis of ultimate load
capacity and design of members subjected to flexure, shear, compression and torsion by limit
state methods. Basic elements of prestressed concrete, analysis of beam sections at transfer and
service loads.

Steel Structures: Analysis and design of tension and compression members, beams and beamcolumns. column bases. Connections- simple and eccentric, beam–column connections, plate
girders and trusses. Plastic analysis of beams and frames.

GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING

Soil Mechanics: Origin of soils, soil classification, three-phase system, fundamental definitions,
relationship and interrelationships, permeability &seepage, effective stress principle,
consolidation, compaction, shear strength.

Foundation Engineering: Sub-surface investigations- scope, drilling bore holes, sampling,
penetration tests, plate load test. Earth pressure theories, effect of water table, layered soils.
Stability of slopes-infinite slopes, finite slopes. Foundation types-foundation design
requirements. Shallow foundations-bearing capacity, effect of shape, water table and other

WATER RESOURCES ENGINEERING

Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics: Properties of fluids, principle of conservation of mass,
momentum, energy and corresponding equations, potential flow, applications of momentum and
Bernoulli’s equation, laminar and turbulent flow, flow in pipes, pipe networks. Concept of
boundary layer and its growth. Uniform flow, critical flow and gradually varied flow in channels,
specific energy concept, hydraulic jump. Forces on immersed bodies, flow measurements in
channels, tanks and pipes. Dimensional analysis and hydraulic modeling. Kinematics of flow,
velocity triangles and specific speed of pumps and turbines.

Hydrology: Hydrologic cycle, rainfall, evaporation, infiltration, stage discharge relationships,
unit hydrographs, flood estimation, reservoir capacity, reservoir and channel routing. Well
hydraulics.

Irrigation: Duty, delta, estimation of evapo-transpiration. Crop water requirements. Design of:
lined and unlined canals, waterways, head works, gravity dams and spillways. Design of weirs
on permeable foundation. Types of irrigation system, irrigation methods. Water logging and
drainage, sodic soils.

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

Water requirements: Quality standards, basic unit processes and operations for water
treatment. Drinking water standards, water requirements, basic unit operations and unit processes
for surface water treatment, distribution of water. Sewage and sewerage treatment, quantity and
characteristics of wastewater. Primary, secondary and tertiary treatment of wastewater, sludge

ability, Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc. (Class X level),
Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. – Class X level).English
Language comprehension skills (Class X level).

        It is further added that there will be provision for penalty (Negative
Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type questions papers
from this year:-

(i) There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

(ii) If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happen to be correct and there will be same penalty as above for that question.

(iii) If a question is left blank i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question
